| Next part on the
list was the lower pivot point of the handshifter. We removed
the ugly mockup part and took all neccesary measurements. The
plate parts were cut from 6 mm thick stainless steel using the
bandsaw and then sanded and polished, Bronze bushings were machined
and installed. |



| All very time consuming
but fun to do. The 2 arms that will be mounted on this pivot were
bandsawed from 6 mm stainless and then once again sanded into
shape. In the last pic you can see how we use a machined part
as a guide to sand the round ends of the arms. Simple but effective
I guess! |
