| In the last update
we made a rear fender, now we need to make a place to mount a
sissybar. We want the axle plates to look like castings, so the
mounting tabs have to look like they are one piece with the "castings"

| I made a CAD drawing
of what I had in mind and we fabricated the tabs from a scrap
piece of 8 mm strip and a piece of roundbar. Material costs zero,
but almost a day's work..... |


| Lots of grinding,
welding, more grinding, filing and sanding and the tabs were in
place. In the last pic you can see how we made a small diameter
wheel for the bending machine, this was needed for the top bend
in the sissybar, to be continued.... |


| We could not resist
taking the bike off the table and rolling it outside to get a
good look, always good for motivation! Now back on the table to
continue! |
