To make sure the splined lever could actually squeeze tight
on the shaft, we removed 4 teeth on each side of the gap. The
stock lever has this as well, never noticed this before..
We decided to make a teardrop shaped cover to hide the end
of the shaft, it is only welded on one side of the squeeze gap,
so that stil works
We did not want to see the end of the thread of the pinchbolt,
so first Aad machined a brass piece that fits in the hole, then
welded the end of the hole shut. The weld does not stick to
the brass so now we have a blind thread and a much cleaner appearance
Aad did his polishing magic and now finally this part is
finished, next please!
