Last week we started shaping the shifter arm, this week we
continued. What can I say, it is a very time consuming process
so we did not get it finished...
There were indentations on the back from the bending and
overall we wanted the shape to be as smooth as possible. The
hole at the end of the squeeze-gap had become oval after bending
so Aad filed that back into shape with the mini powerfile.
The little tab for the pivot at the end was welded on and
the whole thing testfitted to ensure we had smooth shifting
action. Like I said last week; next week it will be ready, haha!
