As Aad was working on the oiltank I almost completed the wiring this week, all that still needs to be connected are the lights, but we have spark! At this stage the bike has no battery, according to the specalists this ignition does not need one, and indeed there is a spark at the sparkplugs. A very small spark, but we will see...

 
 
 

To keep the bike looking as clean as possible all the wires go through the frame and the ignition coil is hidden under the tank, the only visible wires will be the sparkplug leads

 
 
 

Next week we plan to get creative about getting electricity to the headlight without visible wires, and hopefully finish the oiltank and oillines.
