We made a little oval plate to fit under the sidestand, but the only way to testfit the sidestand was by lifting the bike to put it on and take it off again. Lucky me! After it was just right Aad did his grinding and polishing magic.

 
 
 
 

The side stand will be operated by hand, with a stainless tapered lever. First the basic shape was machined on the big lathe, then we bent a nice curve in it and then once again Aad made it shine. On to the next part!
