After riding her XS 650 for several years, my better half Adele decided she wanted a Harley, so she bought this 1993 Sportster. She rode it to the Choppin Woods party and for our little road trip (the Trip-in) and this winter she had a wishlist of several changes..

We started with some of the easy stuff, replaced chain and sprockets as they were completely worn out. Then replaced the big plastic aircleaner with a smaller metal one.

Then the balance pipe had to go, so I cut it off and welded the holes.
Now at least we can see that V-twin a bit better.

Next on the list: lower suspension, smaller seat, smaller taillight and indicators, shorter fenders, old-style Sportster tank, smaller speedo etcetera....
