| Fixing the outside was relatively easy, next job was to figure
out how to machine a part that was so organically shaped and thin-walled.
I decided to make a fixture holding the manifold by the neck.
I started by cuttng an old flange in half and turning that into
a clamp. |
| The actual machining of the part took maybe 20 minutes but the
preparations took a few days. I suppose it was not absolutely
necessary to machine all sides of the fixture but I was having
fun doing it. |
| Now I need to make a mesh to cover the opening and decide which
bike I will use this on! |
