| One more thing about the gastanks, the fuelvalve not being centered
between the cylinders looks wrong to me, so I removed it. Aad
welded a little plate to cover that big hole, I will be installing
a separate fuelvalve on each tank half which will also make it
much easier to remove the tanks with no need for draining them,
and look cleaner as well |
| In the meantime I have been working on the front brake, which
is a hydraulic drumbrake. I wanted to hide the brakeline
in the rear leg of the springer, so I made a slot in the double
walled part near the brake anchor (so the leg would not be weakened).
I used a wire to make sure there were no obstructions inside the
leg. |
| I used Goodridge parts to assemble the brakeline, the lower
part is finished and next time I will modify the risers so the
brakeline can do through and into the handlebar. |
