I removed the lower tank mount from the frame as I want to make a cleaner solution.

To get the speedo in the right position I also had to cut off most of the original dashmount. I fabricated a new bracket and welded that to the frame so now the ne speedo can be mounted easily and will appear to be floating without visible mounts.

In my opinion the biggest disadvantage of the Motogadget Tiny speedo, of which I am using the internals, is the super tiny wiring which is not easy to connect to the rest of the bike. And very fragile! There are 9 wires that together fit inside a 3 mm sleeve, so way to small to crimp a connector on to. I came up with a small piece of circuitboard with a 10 pins connector and designed a housing to fit that in. I had the housing printed, soldered the wires to the circuitboard and connector, and then filled the housing with 2 component Epoxy so the whole thing is pretty bulletproof and there is very little risk of accidentally pulling off a wire. Probably overkill but whatever, haha
