Not super much got done since I have been either working or riding instead of wrenching most weekends. I shortened the fishtail a bit untill I was happy with the look and then tackwelded the hidden mounts to pipe and frame. Now I can finish welding and blend the tabs into the frame.

In the meantime Giel had welded the first parts of the horseshoe oiltank so I can testmount before completing it. I temporarily tackwelded a strip to the seatpost and clamped another strip under the seat to make sure I will get even gaps. The plan is to rubbermount the whole oiltank.

 
 
 

There is an angle in the top of the oiltank so the filter will fit without hitting the front of the oiltank. The outer skin of the oiltank will not have this angle, but follow the frame with an even gap on the top and front. Oillines will enter the tank from below for a cleaner look.

 
 

We won a gift certificate from Zodiac with Cadbike 49 in Norrtelje, so now I have a nice new 12 Volt generator from Cycle Electric and a regulator for this bike!
