Aad modified the hub so it will take a 3/4" axle, he
used a really big lathe so we did not even need to remove the
spokes! First machined one side of the hub, then made a tool
to hold the hub in the bearing pocket he just machined to get
the other side machined perfectly in line. Nice modern sealed
bearings with a spacer between them, this week we will make
the front axle itself
Jeroen at Silvermachine seats sent back the seat
he re-upholsterd with the original material after I had re-shaped
and narrowed the seatbase, Only a few more tasks before the first
test-ride!
