We flattened the welds on the electrics compartment that fits between the frame under the seat, and did some grinding and sanding. We have not decided yet if we will polish it or paint it but for now we will leave it like this.
We bent a piece of tubing and welded it to the bottom of the seat, this
is where teh wires to the taillight will go through. The sissybar,
seat and fender can be rotated back to access the electrics
compartment and the oil filter, almost no wires visible on the
whole bike.
Next job is installing the oillines and priming the whole system and then
we should be ready to see if the bike will start up! Finally...
