| After a long time thinking and sketching I came up with an idea
for the pipes that I have not seen before, something that looks
easy but is quite tricky to make... We decided to use 42.4 mm
stainless pipe and started by machining 2 adaptor pieces that
fit on the Triumph exhaust spigots. The finned clamps will also
be replaced by stainless steel ones. |
| We made a wooden jig to hold 2 pieces of pipe at the same distance
and parallel to the frame, at the rear there will be about 5 mm
space between frame and pipes. To make the curved downpipes we
first had to machine 3 new wheels for the bender, a straight piece
of pipe would have been much easier but this will look much better...
