We started replacing the mockup parts of the handshifter with the final parts, beginning with the handshifter. This versions is all stainless steel, first tapered, then curved, then welded on the pivot, smoothed and polished.         Next step is the short lever on the opposite side of the shifter, this time in stainless steel with a slight "S" curve in it.
