| Well, the pictures
pretty much explain themselves, this is how we made the seatbase
using first cardboard and then steel |
| We made sure to
keep a gap of about 2 mm between the bottom of the seatpan and
the frame to allow fot the upholstery which will be done by Marcel
Miller. |
| The seat will be
the loadbearing part on this bike with the fender hanging under
it, usually it is the fender that supports all the weight. The
seat will be mounted to the frame with 3 M8 bolts that will be
sunken into lugs in the frame so that they will be almost invisible
when the bike is done. On the back the seat will be supported
by the sissybar. |
