| Continuing with the new stainless steel manifolds, we driled
and tapped the flanges and bolted the stock manifolds to them
to use as templates. Aad scribed the oval contour into the new
flanges, then cut away the rough shape with an angle grinder.

| The precise shape was made on the belt sander using the scribed
lines as reference.Next we drilled the manifolds for the vacuum
tube that connects them to each other. |
| After the bungs were welded on, the holes wee drilled to the
correct dimension and then tapped. Instead of using nuts and bolts
to mount the carbs we welded in threaded studs for a cleaner look.
Then came a lot of grinding, filing and sanding. |
All the pieces including the stainless mounting hardware
were then polished by Aad, quite happy how these pieces came
out!
