We hide the starter relay and start modifying the shape of the kickstarter
After completing the rear brake line with the bike still suspended in the air we fabricated a bracket to mount the starter relay under the transmission.
We used the lathe to machine the bracket because why not? The bracket is tacked in place for now, the bike will be fully disassembled for all the final welding later
Then we started modifying the kickstarter that was sticking out way too far and did not match the style of the bike; we started by cutting and bending untill we liked the rough shape
After flattening the arm so it
did not stick out so much, it looked weird angled forward. We
created a bit of an "S" curve under the press which
looks better (we think) Next week we will remove the chrome,
weld, grind and re-texture the kicker arm
