We continued with the rightside forward control (with the brakepedal)
Last time we made the baseplate in 8 mm steel, next we chamfered
all the edges and added ribs to make it look like an old casting
After welding, grinding and texturing we
used heat and oil to get the nice dark color, next we started
with the brake pedal. We made a mockup pedal to get the correct
curve, angle and height to match the clutch pedal, then fabricated
the actual pedal from 5 mm steel plate welded together in a
T-shape.
Next we will make the tip of the brakepedal,
texturized and heat darken, add bronze bushings and rebuild
the old master cylinder and make the brakeline...
