Project started October 2023,

We decided we will get rid of the clutch arm and fabricate a hydraulic clutch, because we will need to use all the space between transmission and seat for the oil and battery. The battery is quite big because of the electric start which is "hidden" behind the transmission. And we want to be sure there is enough oil capacity after lowering the seat quite a bit. So we updated the wooden buck.

The right side panel was finished and the wooden buck removed from the frame. Next we started on the bottom of the oiltank, which will follow the shapes on the top of the transmission to maximize the oil capacity

Aad made a dummy battery from foam so we could easily try different positions and we tested how far back it could be mounted by putting a square tube between the frame and the ceiling and then lifting the hydralic table. So now we know how far up and forward the rear tire can go, haha

Stay tuned for the next episode !
