Project started October 2023,

For this week the plan was to add the reinforcements behind the neck, originally we planned to use tubes but because they are so small with a pretty tight radius we decided to go for solid 22 mm bars

 
 
 

Using my drawings as a template the tubes were first bent on the 3-wheel bender and then cut and grinded to size

 
 
 

Engine and transmission were removed and the curved pieces were tacked in place in the jig, then the frame was taken out for final welding, all done with TIG here

 
 
 
 

For the seat area we will reuse the stock shockmount castings, the rest will be built from scratch again
