Last week we had a roughley shaped patch panel, this week we started by using the incredibly loud planishing hammer to smooth out the bumps.

When it was smooth enough we traced the outline onto the tank and cut out the damaged part. Looking at the inside of the removed part you can see it was pretty nasty!

Before welding in the new part we will gritblast the inside of the tank because there is quite a bit of rust and it is easy to access right now;-)
