After relocating the ignition switch from the top tree to a new location under the tank, we could now use it's mounting points on the top tree to mount a MMB mini speedo. The MMB is a very compact speedo which besides showing your speed also measures voltage and temperature and has built in indicators for neutral, oil pressure, high beam etcetera. The hall sensor was mounted on the swingarm where it can pick up the sprocket bolts to send pulses to the speedo.

While Royal Jack was working on the paint (candy tangerine over metalflake) we also found a cool new headlight with yellow glass and replaced the Lucas taillight with a LED version from Motone that looks exactly the same but should last much longer and use less power.

This is how far we got this year, I still see a million things I want to change but that will have to wait until next winter because now it is time to ride it!

One of the next mods will be to install 2 oval numberplates to hide all the clutter under the seat. I already made the plates, now maybe paint them white with a goldleafed number 7
