With the Brembo on my homemade adaptor I held it as close as possible to the original brakemounts on the forklegs. This allowed me to measure the offset required, so then I could machine the pockets in the adaptor and mount the whole thing. I fitted a new Goodridge stainless brakeline as the old one was much too long and bled the system to get all the air out. Man, what a difference! Now this brake REALLY stops the bike, highly recommended!!! Now I am going to quit messing with this bike for a while, as it will be my daily ride while the shopvan is getting repainted.
