| We decided that the first rear fender we had made out of 2 Harley
front fenders was too thin and started making a new one from scratch.
We made a steel strip in the in the length radius we wanted; first
the strip will be used as a template and later it will be welded
inside the fender After this part was done we cut a rectangle
from 1.2 mm thick steel, then with a shrinker we started cuving
in the sides. I have no pics of this part as I was operating the
shrinker. Then Aad started stretching the middle of the steel
sheet using the english wheel. |

| We had also made a wooden template of the side profile and using
both templates, a big wooden hammer, the shrinker and especially
the planishing hammer Aad managed to get pretty close to the desired
shape in a few hours time. Much stronger than our first attempt
already! |
