The new ignition switch bracket was welded to the crankcase breather tube and Aad spent hours grinding, sanding and polishing untill it was smooth. In the meantime I taped off the inside of the tank so we would not damage the paint while working on the new inside brackets for battery, coil, electronics and fuelpump

I made a paper template for the support plate and Aad cut it out of stainless steel. This whole plate will be rubber mounted inside the tank and all the components will be mounted to this. Then we started with figuring out how to get all the parts inside in a clean and functional way, using temporary brackets to hold the parts in place.
