The front brake caliper bracket was one of the parts fabricated live at the Bike Expo. We had prepared a fixture in advance and CAD drawings of all the components. One of the tools that was very usefull in cleaning up the welds in this stainless steel part, was a low rpm angle grinder with scotchbrite discs.

As we are trying to get this bike finished in time for the European Championships in Mainz, I have been doing quick sketches of small parts instead of full CAD drawings. Luckily Aad and me have been working together long enough that this also works fine, allthough I would not want to design a whole bike this way... Anyway, Aad fabricated some stops for the swingarm, some rear fender brackets and a bracket for the oiltank.
