To make sure the bridge that was welded to the swingarm would not fall off, Aad used a REALLY BIG welder to build up material and then spent a lot of hours smoothing these welds. The swingarm was mounted on a vertical milling machine and the legs and pivot thingy were machined flat and perpendicular, and the holes for the bearings and chain tensioners were added.

Aad made a pivot axle from ChromeMoly and the swingarm was mounted for the first time. The chaintensioners were also made of ChromeMoly by Aad but were not finished yet while I write this. Next week this bike should be standing on its wheels for the first time.
