WEBER IDF CARBS

Some pictures of the finished prototype on my bike, with homemade
throttlewheel and stainless steel fuelline that bends around and
behind the carb for a cleaner look.

Behind the carb we rubbermounted the stainless fuelline to the carb,
and we added a short piece of transparant fuelline after the fuelpump,
so I can see if there is any fuel coming out of the pump. The electric
fuelpump is mounted under the fueltank. DO NOT use a high pressure
pump or a membrane pump because these will not run very good.

The carb works even better than I had expected, the bike kickstarts
very easy now and idles smoothly. I do not need to touch the choke,
and the carb responds immediately to the throttle. Yesterday I
demonstrated the carb at a bikeshow by kickstarting it every 15
minutes all day long, and most of the time it took only 1 kick, a few
times it took 2. I could not get the grin from my face, it was
definitely worth all the hours of work we put into it!
