After testing the mockup for the footclutch pedal, which uses
gears to reverse the direction, we started making the final
version. The baseplate will mount the pedal, gears and sidestand
and we want it to look like an old cast part
According to my drawings we
cut and drilled the baseplate, chamfered the edges and welded
on the bungs for the pivots and some ribs. The welds were smoothed
with a dremel and then the whole thing was textured. The pivot
holes for the gears will get bronze bushings with grease nipples,
and then we will make the clutchpedal
