We clamped a piece of steel to the frame
exactly straight and used that as a base for the magnetic drill.
Then Aad welded the first plug in and we bolted the steel plate
to that to drill the hole for the second plug. All this will
result in an almost invisible rubbermount. Aad also welded some
halfrond bar to the top to create a rib.
Where the sides and bottom join we also
added some roundbar, and we made a little tool to help weld
the sheetmetal in the center of the bar, sometimes the simplest
tool can make a big difference!
Almost ready, only need to weld
the top and bottom together and clean up all the welds now.
After that we start on some new handlebars.
