Project started October 2023,
Before cutting the frame we are building a jig, using the welding table as part of it. This week we put the new neck in the neck-jig and continued fixating the (few) parts of the old frame that we are keeping.

The bike will remain a swingarm so we fixed the swingarrm castings to the jig. The seatpost and motormount castings are also staying, but the transition from the seatpost to the lower frametubes will be changed completely.

Aad started cutting the unneeded bits off. The lower frametubes frrom the seatpost forward had already been replaced by a previous owner with a slightly smaller than stock diameter tube, so these are going to be replaced also.

Just to make sure nothing important moves we fixated front and rear motormounts to each other as well as to the jig. Next week we remove the last bits we don't need and clean the bits that we do need, then start building up the new frame!
