I welded some bungs on the frame to attach the bubble dash trim too, and had a bunch of covers vacuumformed using the aluminium mold that was CNC machined from my CAD file. I had a few extra ones done, always nice to have some spares.

I did not want to have an off the shelf speedo under the bubble so decided to modify one. I started with a Motoscope Tiny for the electronics and a glass and bezel, mounted upsidedown, from an old Vespa scooter.

I scanned both parts and put them in CAD, and used that to design the filler piece and the speedo face. Both were 3D printed and fit very nicely. The Speedo face however blocks too much light and would not be visible during night riding, so I will probably redo that in a different material.
