Over the last weeks the whole oiltank has been welded, thanks
Aad! I had kept the outer skin slightly oversized on the top
so I would be able to trim the gap between frame and oiltank.

In one of the pics above, Aad has clamped a piece of copper
to the area that is going to be welded, this is to prevent the
egde from collapsing during welding. |
In the meantime I have worked on the gaps and am now quite
happy with the result. All I need to do is fabricate a side
filler opening and pressure test.
