In order to get this bike registered it will need a full rear fender, the old mounting bracket did not fit so I took the grinder and removed it. Personally I like th look of the narrow ribbed fender but for the registration I will use the longer red fender first. Getting the bike quiet enough for the test will probably be the biggest challenge of all, I bought some stock mufflers from a new 1200 Sportster for 50 euro's, that will be a good start. I improvised a bending tool from some scrap metal and made a bolt-on exhaust bracket as I am not supposed to weld on the frame because it has already been approved and numbered by the RDW. I will mount the mufflers first and then make the headers from old pieces of exhaust pipe covered with header-wrap.
