I recently took the BMW to the Hotrodshow in Chimay, after it had been standing in my living room for more than a year. After putting fuel in the bike after such a long time I had some trouble with dirt in the fuel clogging the float needle, so the first thing I did when I got home was to put some decent fuelfilters on the bike.

Sofar the bike has been electric start only, because the stock kickstarter and the left pipe were in each others way. Using the CAD model of the bike I sketched a new kickstarter arm and using a fullsize print I cut it out of MDF. Using this as a template I can figure out the best shape, making sure I will get the maximum kick without hitting any other parts. Then ofcourse we will make it in stainless steel.

Also using the CAD model I am experimenting with changing the taillight and finally mounting the numberplate. Those things look bad no matter where you put them...
