Robbie's 360, part 3


 

Aad finished welding the axle blocks and the whole assembly was put in the bike for test fitting again. Big improvement! The rear sprocket offset spacer was very visible through the holes in the sprocket, so 5 "half moons" were machined out of it. It will probably be powdercoated black to match the wheel later.

 
 

The fender needed to be widened about 50 millimeters, because Robbie was going from a 300 tire to a 360 but we wanted the fender to fit around the wheel as tightly as possible. The fender will be welded onto the swingarm but first all the welds needed cleaning up; we want the parts we make to look great without paint, so we will need very little filler later.
