In 1985 I bought the Shovelhead I still have today, a 1978 FLH
After riding it home I removed the fairing and tupperware boxes
before the bike had even cooled off!
I rode the bike around that first winter as a stripped Electra,
painted in gray primer, with the seat from my old flathead
and an S&S carb with dragpipes.
