Part 6, Housing , Spark plug cable complete
32000-42 right hand & 32001-42 left hand
To get to the same diameter as the stock cable
I used steel braided hose with an extra layer of brass braiding,
which had the extra advantage of being much easier to solder without
burning the rubber hose. I made a simple fixture to hold the bits
together when soldering and went to the Hague where Willem was
going to do the soldering. |

Next job was to make a flaring tool to fix the
packing nuts on the end of the cable shields. I used the end of
an old bent FLH forkleg to make part 02 because it had a nice
inner thread and would save me some time, there is no such thing
as scrap metal! |

The flaring tool worked as it should, so now I could complete
all the cable shields! |
