Willem from "het zijklepperpaleis" was missing a couple of these very rare toplight brackets ( he has 7 Harley XA's but not all of them are complete) so he asked if I could make a few copies. The originals were die-cast but the tooling for that is too expensive for just a few parts. The shape was also quite difficult to machine so I made a laserscan of the original, postprocessed that to a clean CAD model and had it printed in aluminium. This is a fairly new process where aluminium powder is melted together by laser, so the end product is 100% metal.
