Hi Roger, this bike is much too cool for just 1 picture, can you send me more and perhaps a short story with some tech stuff (what kind of blower, what size blower, what carb, what cam, how many cubes, how fast?) so I can do a whole feature on this bike? I love it! Cheers, Duckman


Hi...Fun that you liked it, I will try to send you some more pics from this last summer and some spec., I have a "D8 video" that I probably can rip some pics from... I should have done that long time ago but since I don't have a computer on my own it may take a while... by the way it looked a lot better 2003 with flat black and polished alu... Now its completely ripped apart... for a new paintjob , I am building a hydraulic clutch, porting the heads, and some other stuff .. I hope it will be finished for the Superrally in May. I haven't yet had time to rip photoīs from my video tape since I am pretty busy putting the bike together,and I also have a 3 year old girl that doesn'tīt like me spending to much time in the garage. But I will fix it as soon as possible! Sending more old photos from the winter 2001/2002 and one bad one from last spring when it was matt/flat black...
And since the first ones I replaced the s&s B carb for a much nicer G...
OK hereīs some hard facts: Bike: -80 fx bought in 1997
Engine: standard case, 80cui, polished and lightened s&s rods, lightened wiseco pistons, lightened flywheels, standard heads that i have ported , polished the exhaust and "hemiīs". last year i had a 4010 Vthunder cam but now i have a specialgrind for my engine from leineweber. scott supercharger whitch is 20% overdriven. DYNA S ignition but will pobably replace it with a 2000i...
The first run in spring 2002 was with dragpipes and you know they say that loud pipes save lifes, but the way it sounds with a blower is killing, so i had to build a 2-1 with a muffler and itīs still louder than a normal bike with dragpipes!!!! pure evil... The bike was running good last year with 0,7bar, but i hope that the new cam will add some more punch... Hopefully i will have it ready and running sometime in May... cheers Roger
