The Shoptruck

2026 UPDATE!

Well, it has been a year since the last update on the shoptruck. This month it was 20 years ago that I bought it and it has always been parked outside, so every few years there are rustrepairs that need to be done. I also managed to scrape my right rear panel along a concrete pillar. The pillar won. So I decided to get the rust spots and the dent fixed and repaint the whole panel. The company logo also had to be replaced.

Next I added some support strips to the bedframe so that the actual supports remain evenly spaced, they tended to move around a bit. The supports can be taken out very easily when motorcycles need to be hauled.

I found a set of Western Turbine wheels online, had them blasted and powdercoated and put some new Bridgestone tires on them, as the General Grabbers were in need of replacement anyway.

I am very happy with how the "new" wheels look, next on the list is fixing the A-pillars as they are starting to rust again, replacing the windshield and then the roof and raingutters...
