"Doncella Delgado" means slender girl, which is the opposite of a "Fat Boy" (Cadbike 37 project started November 2006)
26 June 2023 I replaced the 4-speed transmission with a far more accurate and detailed one (the same one that I sell in my webshop) and completed the footclutch. Redesigned the handshifter and added throttle cable. 12 June 2023 Changed the angle of the frame bits behind the upper shock mounts, narrowed the handlebars and redesigned the footrests. Added brake pedal with linkage, reservoir and brakeline. Changed a ot of engine & transmission parts from polished to dark grey for more contrast. 5 June 2023 Starting on a makeover; beginning with a new seat and under seat frametubes, and a new color obviously 20 February 2007 Added footrests shaped like scallops. 13 February 2007 Added some simple scallops to tank and fender, and added a cool little taillight. 9 January 2007 I completed the fuellines, added brass clamps for oil- and fuellines, added fuelpump mounted under the gearbox and "flipped" the kickstarter arm so it does not stick out so much. Also added rear brake reservoir and some new views. 2 January 2007 I completed the oillines and started on the fuellines.Added details to rear hub and axle, changed pipes to make room for the oillines, added headlight bracket and added fuelvalve. 19 December 2006 I added a Pontiac headlight and started working on the oillines. 5 December 2006 I made a set of pipes with a tapered turnout and cast, finned flanges. Also added some extra views. 28 November 2006 Converted the frame to a single downtube, mostly to make room for the velocity stacks on the carb. I also added front and top motormounts, and a funky prismic rear fender. Oh yeah, I got rid of the fork covers because a slender girl needs slender legs.... 21 November 2006 Changed the frame in the area under the seat again, curved the frametubes to follow the seat. Replaced the forkrubbers with metal covers (not sure yet if that was a good idea). Mixed up a weird paintjob by mixing a scaled up rust texture with a metalflake finish, looks kinda cool;-) 14 November 2006 I did some live Cad demo's at the Bike Expo (formerly known as the "Motorsale") this weekend, and made a gastank, manifold, handlebars and some frame modifications in the area under the seat. Also added rear drumbrake and chain. 7 November 2006 "Doncella Delgado" means slender girl, which is the opposite of a "Fat Boy", so that should give you a clue where this is going.... For starters I used a 4-speed swingarm frame that I narrowed 1.5 inches between the lower rails and under the seat. I moved the front of the seat back a little and raised the neck a little bit. I used narrow forks, an old style round swingarm and Avon rubber front and rear. The powerplant is a Shovelhead lower end mated to Ronnie Breuers "Superpan" heads.
"An old 4-speed swingarm frame narrowed 1.5 inches!"
This was the "old" version
