I
stripped the last of the paint off and found quite a lot of
filler and a lot of small dents. Because the tunnel had been
removed earlier it was quite easy to remove the dents by putting
the tank on a thick wooden workbench and tapping out the dents
from the inside with a wooden hammer. (Use wood because this
way the metal does not stretch)
Aad welded in the mounting ring for the CSC Speedster gascap
and welded on the rib while I diasassembled and cleaned the
front brake parts.
