Back in 1988 the Harman was the ultimate engine,
even came close. These are some scanned pages from the 1988

The "Monster Motor" used a stock Shovelhead
crank with 4.25" stroke, the bore was a whopping 4.325"!
Valvecovers and nosecone of a Shovelhead
were used and the heads each had their own carb.
Sadly John Harman died in 1988 and less than
100 of these engines were ever built.
If I remember correctly Kenny Boyce and Randy
Hill kept the Fab Shop open for a while.
