Back in 1988 the Harman was the ultimate engine, nothing else
even came close. These are some scanned pages from the 1988
catalog of John Harman's Fab Shop.(from Duckman's collection)

The "Monster Motor" used a stock Shovelhead
crank with 4.25" stroke, the bore was a whopping 4.325"!
Valvecovers and nosecone of a Shovelhead
were used and the heads each had their own carb.
Sadly John Harman died in 1988 and less than
100 of these engines were ever built.
If I remember correctly Kenny Boyce and Randy
Hill kept the Fab Shop open for a while.
